Alena has always been a Pisces…And refuses to let you forget it
Art was always a constant in my life. In fact, creativity in general was always constant whether it was expressing myself through my wardrobe, decorating my living spaces, editing Youtube videos, or even writing music.
If astrology was never explained to you, a Pisces individual is said to be highly creative, intuitive, and dreamy. Yes, my strong sense of pride in this sign is worthy of being studied, but it is as much a part of me as being an artist is a part of me.
The art pieces I create are meant to give you a glimpse into my world, how I see things via the stylization of characters I choose to illustrate and my reinterpretations of a given color palette into my very own.
What you see from my art is my journey. Finding my style and my niche took years in the making. Those years were full of self-doubt, one identity crisis after another, and a flame that was ready to die out at a moment’s notice.
There are many other artists and creatives I could strive to be like, but this art is purely myself and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I look forward to nurturing and supporting my identity through my art.
